The short version

Use the apps to organize your own information. Review automated results, understand optional data sharing, and check purchase terms before paying. These apps help you keep records; they do not operate your bank account or make payments.

Using our services

Mera Kharcha and Mera SMS are provided by Codexcollab. For privacy questions, account requests, or concerns, email merakharcha.support@gmail.com. Include the app name and the Google email associated with your account where relevant. Do not send passwords, verification codes, or full card details.

By using the services, you agree to these terms and the relevant privacy policy. Use them lawfully, provide information you are entitled to use, and protect access to your device and account. Do not misuse shared groups, interfere with service security, or use the apps to send unlawful or abusive messages.

What each app does

Mera Kharcha is an expense-recording and money-organization app. Mera SMS is a default SMS app. You can use either independently. Optional auto-tracking connects them using the same Google account, an enabled setting, and consent in Mera SMS. Mera Kharcha itself does not request SMS permission.

Automatic tracking and messaging limits

Auto-tracking depends on receiving eligible messages in a supported format. Detection may miss payments, misclassify messages, or create inaccurate records. Check amounts, dates, categories, and possible duplicate entries before relying on totals. Background sync and scheduled SMS can be delayed by Android, connectivity, battery settings, or service availability.

SMS/MMS uses your carrier and may incur charges. Delivery and MMS availability depend on your carrier and device. Private conversations use a local screen lock; they do not make SMS end-to-end encrypted. Backup files contain message content and must be protected by you.

Free features, Premium, and AI allowance

Mera Kharcha offers free features with ads and optional Premium subscriptions. Mera SMS is free with ads. Premium access in Mera Kharcha does not remove Mera SMS ads. Available plans, local prices, renewal terms, taxes, and any trial offer are displayed before purchase through Google Play.

Every new account, including guest accounts, receives one 7-day app Premium trial. Up to 2 guest accounts can be created per phone. A Play subscription offer, if displayed, has its own terms. Subscriptions may renew unless cancelled through Google Play. Deleting your account or uninstalling does not cancel a subscription. Manage cancellations and eligible refund requests through Google Play.

AI use consumes an allowance. A rewarded-ad Day Pass can unlock AI questions until local midnight; it does not unlock Premium-only expense entry. Optional token packs add allowance but do not replace feature access requirements. Purchased tokens do not expire and are used after daily allowance. Check the app for your current balance and access.

AI and financial information

AI answers, summaries, highlights, and estimates can be incomplete or wrong. They depend on available records and may not reflect your full financial situation. Review them before acting. The apps do not provide regulated financial, investment, tax, or legal advice, and do not execute payments or settlements.

Sharing and privacy

Only join splits or families when you understand which records become visible to other members. You remain responsible for information you contribute and for payments you make outside the app. Review the Mera Kharcha privacy policy and Mera SMS privacy policy for data handling, providers, retention, and your choices.

Creating or joining a split, creating a family and viewing family members’ expenses require Premium; joining a family and adding your own payments to a split you’re in do not.

Deletion and account access

Account deletion is permanent and removes the shared account used by these services. Existing shared groups may continue for their other members. Deleting an imported expense does not delete the original SMS from your phone. Removing a phone stops future imports but leaves past expenses. See account deletion for steps and consequences.

Availability, ownership, and responsibility

We may update, restrict, or discontinue features, including temporarily disabling auto-tracking for maintenance or availability reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or perfect detection. The apps’ software, branding, and original site content belong to their respective owners; your own records remain yours.

Third-party ads are not endorsements. We are not responsible for advertisers’ claims, carrier delivery, or losses caused by reliance on inaccurate user-entered or automated records. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or responsibilities that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
